10 ways to feel positive when the man you love walks away...

  1. Spring is around the corner (even though you would never think so with all the snow today...)
  2. There is always ONE friend on any given night that needs a drink just as badly as you do
  3. Your heart’s been broken before and you got over it. So, the comfort in knowing that this too shall pass.
  4. Knowing deep down that he will miss you sometimes. Even if it is just for the amazing sex (he is a guy after all).
  5. Thinking of all the next “firsts” that are to come for you... first flirts... first dates... first kisses... first butterflies... first nights ;)
  6. Knowing that you’re one step closer to finding someone who can give you what you want... someone who will want to share their life with you...
  7. Extra reason to look hot when you go out on Saturday nights, or when you go to the grocery store!
  8. Nights at home just means that you’re getting your money’s worth of your mattress you bought 6 months ago and your new flatscreen TV.
  9. Knowing that the guy who will eventually love you is out there feeling miserable without you, and in a terrible relationship right now!
  10. And finally, realizing that your life is already full of love: from friends, family and your godson’s sweet kisses.

The Good Girl

Some people just attract others. Whether it's animal instinct or charm... my coworker/friend has that je-ne-sais-quoi that draws people in from afar. She's pretty new to the dating world, considering she's been in serious relationships her whole adult life. But, let me tell you, she's wasting no time and now handling men with a finesse that we should all admire!

We'll call her The Good Girl (you'll understand why later in the story). You might actually remember her, I told the story of her first random dating experience a few months ago, and trust me, this one is just as spontaneous ;)

So there's This Guy... i've been seeing

So there's this guy... isn't there always?!... that i've been seeing.

And i haven't written about him much to everyone's disappointment — well maybe once...
I just decided on a new tactic for this one... trying NOT to put pressure on it, or jinx it.

So basically i decided to NOT talk about it, even though he's been wonderful every step of the way. I guess every girl gets tired of dates never working out the way you hope they would. And sometimes when your feelings are involved and “out there” (like mine of the world wide web!), it can get... extra frustrating.

But now, there's good things going on here, so i feel the need to talk, so here it goes. Let's hope i don't jinx this!

Friday, July 23, 2010

so there's this guy...

Ok I don’t want to jinx anything or even say one word about it, but there’s this guy I’m crushing on. And we have a date tmrw night. I’m excited. Really excited. I don’t have a name for him, I don’t want to make up a name for him. He’s a friend of a friend, and I don’t want them to even know what’s happening between us... Weird of me, I know. That’s all for now. Wish me luck! xo

Keep The Faith!

So, just when you think that available guys are IMPOSSIBLE to find: listen to this story!

My coworker was running errands, rushing around preparing for her vacation, and as she left a store in downtown MTL, she caught this guy's eye as they walked by each other... They both did a double-take and then a triple-take. She smiled and kept walking.

Suddenly, he came running down the street after her to see if she was interested in going for coffee or drinks!

She was shocked, but said yes to a drink because he was just so hot! So, they ended up spending 2 hours talking, laughing, and getting to know each other! Finally, she had to leave to continue her errands that she was totally off-schedule for! lol Sometimes you just have to give up all your tedious plans for a hot date with a stranger!

She thought that she might never hear from him again, but i'm happy to report that he texted her the following day!
Who knows how the story will continue... But, just remember, when you think that you can't find love... or at least a hot guy to go on a date with ... just think of this story! Sometimes these things STILL DO happen out of the blue! This is something i need to remind myself of everyday! hehe

The Frenchie

So.... exciting news :: update on last night's date = it was amazing! Maybe the bouncer has FINALLY let me into the ‘normal’ pool of guys (long story that I’ll explain this weekend! Lol). The date was so good in fact, that I woke up at 4am and couldn’t get back to sleep for hours because I was really excited.
And yes, maybe I am jumping the gun here, but I think a little bit of happiness is good for the soul ;) Even if it doesn’t work out in the end. Right girls?!
So, let me tell you everything! First of all, I had a crisis at 5pm, when the restaurant/bar I had made reservations with 2 days prior, called me to CANCEL my reservation! Or actually, to tell me that they simply don’t make bar reservations on nights when there are hockey games!! There had been a mistake made when I had called on Tuesday. I was beyond furious! How dare they call me 2 hours before game time! Making reservations anywhere else in the city would have been impossible at that time!

So, I text my date and explain the situation. Totally in distress. And surprisingly, he said: ‘No problem, i’ll go to the bar an hour early to get us seats’ !!! Wow, I was super impressed! The date hadn't even begun and he was in my good books!

So, 2 hrs later, I get to the bar, and he’s even more good looking in person than in his pictures on the internet. BTW we met over Zoosk — he is the last one I've decided to talk to, because so many of the Zoosk guys are after one thing... and I am getting annoyed! All the things I had sensed about him from our emails were accurate: he’s laidback, funny, chill, speaks English amazingly well considering he’s French, and he was honest about his profile. Plus in person, our conversation flowed so easily, that I can hardly remember what we talked about for 4 hours. And even though the big hockey game was on the big screen, I hardly watched. Which is pretty shocking for me! He was just really interesting to talk to.

I even told him about my blog, and surprisingly he thought it was great! He wanted to know what I was going to write about him, which of course I didn’t tell..... and he’s probably dying to know today! Hahaha At least, for him, he was the one who decided on his nickname : The Frenchie. Which I think it really appropriate, because while leaving the bar he kissed me and man he is a gooood kisser! Not like Mr. Teeth Kisser from a few weeks ago! Ewweeie lol

So, on my drive home, I was already being a typical girl and hoping he was going to call me in the next few days to make plans. But, I didn't have to think about it long, because he texted me last night to say he had a great time and hopes to see me again soon! YAY!
I'm not sure what the plan is for date #2, but I’m really looking fwd!! Stay tuned and have a great day chicas! xo AND GO HABS GO!!!!!

Up Close and Personal :: 2 Dates With The Naked Guy

So, ok two dates to tell you about. Two nights. Same guy: The Naked Guy.
If you missed it: part one of the story here.
So….. date #1…Tuesday
Funny things happen with me ALWAYS, so u guys are probably going to get a good chuckle outta this one. lol
So, it's Tuesday night, we meet for supper, and he's actually pretty normal. He's good looking, tall, health conscious, funny, sarcastic, good conversation, plus he's a internet-dating-virgin so that's cute too! He has two sisters who he clearly loves very much; one who he lives with, so i think that's a good sign. He's a few years younger than me… not sure that'll be an issue, but i'm not basing everything on that at the moment.
So, we laughed the whole supper. There's was barely an awkward moment. I think if was the first "first date" that i didn't have a alcoholic drink with the meal! Good girl Roxy!
So from the restaurant we went to the movies next door. We were early, so we played some arcade games to pass the time. I won at street racing (he didn't know my skills! loll), and then we were in some strange jeep killing giant spiders and bugs together. Some weird games out there today!
Then we saw Shutter Island. WOW great movie. He bought us popcorn and coke :) He knows me well already. It was fun. No awkward moves, no silent moments. Pretty good for a first date i would say!
Then…. we left the movie theater and he realized that he had lost his keys. I totally thought he was kidding because we'd been joking around all night. Come to think of it, that's all we do. But when he sprinted to the door to see if his car was still in the parking lot, i knew he was telling the truth. Luckily he lived only 10 mins away, so his sister came to bail him out with his spare set of keys. Poor guy, i think he was a little embarrassed. We found out the next day that he had left them at the restaurant. Thank god for nice ppl who return your keys instead of stealing your car!!
So… date #2….Wednesday
So, the next day, Wednesday, I felt good about date #1, and we were still texting funny messages to each other. For other completely different reasons, i was having a really sad day, and when my plans fell though for the evening, he invited me over to watch hockey: HABS game4! Wasn't sure if it was too soon or not to go to his place, but i liked his company, so i decided to go.
Now the rest of this might make me sound really mean, but i'm just being honest. And let's pray he never reads this!! HAHAHA
So i get there. Nice house, nice neighborhood. Walk in. And right away i knew that this was his parents home. He said he lived with his sister, but didn't mention that it was the house that they grew up in. The plastic couches in the overly decorated living room gave it away ;)
He lives on the top floor of this town house, great space, despite the childhood teddy bears on the shelves. I felt like i was 16 all over again. The old-style furniture from the 80s, the mess, the dirty carpet… it was all very reminiscent of all my high school boyfriends...
Anyway, i was judging, but i was still open to this working out because i had a great evening the night before. So, we watched hockey, ordered food, went for a drive in his “super bass” Jeep to pick up his keys from the restaurant ;)
Then, he kissed me.
And.
Nothing.
Not even a butterfly.
It was awkward to say the least.
I don't know if it was the vision of the teddy bears on the shelves in the distance, or the fact that he used his teeth a lot while kissing (weird!), or the decor constantly reminding me that he's younger than i am, or him being really insistent at trying to take my pants off (and me having to act like i was 15 and push him off me!) , but either way, I was no longer interested.
I know a lot of people might think i'm being harsh, and to give the guy another chance, but honestly, if u don't feel the sparks (despite me feeling lots towards his god-like arms) then there's no point in dragging things on any further. I don't know what inspired the sudden “turnoff” but it was very certain in my mind that i don't want to see him again.

Now i just have to figure out how to tell him….. THIS is the worst part about dating! Any suggestions?! Help!

Oh and as promised here's the big reveal :: This was his Zoosk picture that started up our whole conversation. He really does have a great body, i'll give him that!!

The Naked Guy

ok so i'm really excited! I have a date with a guy i'm interested in tomorrow night. He's taking me to see the movie Shutter Island, cuz that's what i wanted to see. He's already seen it once, but he said he doesn't mind seeing it a second time: he said he'll have more time to focus on me that way. I don't know if that's creepy or cute, but because i like him, i'll just think of it as cute! lol
So, you're probably wondering why the title of this post is NAKED GUY.
I'll explain. I met this guy on Zoosk; he had winked at me and he had a really cute profile picture (a few actually) and then BOOM a random naked picture. I mean, he's wearing boxers, but he's pretty naked in my opinion. HOT though, but naked. Usually i don't give these guys a second look because you assume they're full of themselves, but i felt compelled to write to him. I said that he was cute in his profile pictures; why did he need to post a naked picture of himself?! We could see that he was fit and good looking; he didn't need to sell himself to the devil (the Zoosk devil)! LOL
He wrote me back saying that he was glad he could make me laugh so hard, and we've been chatting ever since.
He's funny, cute, and well, i know he has a good body, so that's always a plus!
We've been talking non-stop since last Thursday night. We're going to dinner and movie tomorrow night. Wish me luck!! xo
P.S. i'm considering posting his naked photo, but i don't want him to read this one day and get mad... so i'll opt out for now. If things don't go well tmrw i'll post his pic immediately! HAHAHA

So I Have a Date This Saturday...

So as you know, i'm playing around on Zoosk. It was really just to laugh about, but i started chatting with this guy from the Southshore and i actually kind of started having fun. We chatted, then texting (no, no SEXTING yet), tonight we spoke on the phone, we've been playing phone tag all week, and this Saturday is D-Day. Date night.

He's invited me to Skratch...
It's kinda juvenile. Like my 9th grade boyfriend invited me to Skratch.
BUT i'm trying not to be judgmental or negative.

Already he's somehow managed to tell me every reason under the sun there is for NOT being with him; he actually listed them to me on MSN the other night at 2am. Not very bright on his part. I really have lost some interest since then. He asked me why i was single; the question I HATE.
Don't u think if i knew WHY i was single, that i would do something different?! Maybe guys are just too dumb that i meet!!
I didn't answer him that way; i mean i am a polite girl. I talked about bad timing and those type of things. So, when i asked him the same, he said: “ Do you want me to list the reasons?”

And i know you you all want to know what they are!! lol
So, here they are: the reasons to NOT be with Mr...Southshore;
  1. He's “hot stuff” (yes he SAID this, are u understanding already why i'm a little put off?)
  2. He's picky (because he's hot stuff you see) and he needs someone equal to him (mmmhmmm)
  3. He lives with his parents (oh now i understand the hot stuff part! pft)
  4. He works AND goes to school, so he has 0 time. although he is graduating in 6 weeks (one plus!)
  5. He's a nurse (yes, just like my ex who didn't have time for me either)
  6. He lives on the Southshore (i think i may have mentioned this one a few times. But he's only ±30mins away apparently.... YA with NO traffic)
  7. And, last point, is that he LOVES his job and he's VERY talented at it. So, over time and long nights are NOT a big deal for him, because he's saving lives (great. noted. thanks for sharing.)
So... after all his convincing arguments,  i'm like: “hmmm YEs , thanks for exaplining, i totally DO understand why you're single now”Uhhhh. talk later then. k bye

He's apparently a god-like nurse who is busy every second of the day, and who lives with mommy but is TOTALLY hot stuff.

that pretty much wraps it up... i'm really harsh aren't i?!

So, then why am i going on a date with him you ask......
Well, he was nice to chat to, quite funny, sympathetic, honestly curious about me and my life, he's 31, and cute, loves what he does, and through all this texting, i've kind of started to enjoy him.
But, who knows if i'll feel the same on Saturday. I will set up a few of you as my scapegoats!! HEHE Don't worry you will be informed of my whereabouts in case he is a freak of nature! Stay tuned, Brossard 7:30pm Saturday April 17th. I will tweet it live to you all. Be there or be square.

The Car Guy is Back!!

OMG that guy who wrote me a random email the other day (read here if you missed it), WASN'T a eharmony guy i had met from last year!! It was the CAR GUY!! The guy i met on the street last summer... The guy who wanted to “cook me breakfast in the morning” mid-way through our first date!
I have no idea WHY he's trying with me again, that was sooo long ago now!

NOPE not gonna see him again!! Tough luck buddy, one date with you was enough !

Last Year's Valentine Disaster

So this is the perfect time of year for me to tell you about last year's Valentine Disaster.

It was a guy i had gone on one date with. He was super sweet, and SUPER cute. He had one of those perfectly proportioned faces. Clear blue eyes, short dirty blond hair, tall. The whole package, or so it seemed. Our first date had been the Tuesday before Valentine's Day. So, it was only natural that he ask me out that next weekend. V-Day. Eck. I thought it would be totally cheesy, and probably awkward for him if we went to a resto on V-Day. So, instead, when he invited me to do something on that Saturday night, i suggested that he come over to join me and my roomates since we were having a little Valentine's soirée of our own. 2 couples and me. So, i was happy to have a date to bring! He happily agreed .

As most girls would, i thought that maybe he'd bring me a flower or a box of chocs, since it was Valentine's Day and I was the one offering supper and drinks. But this date was different. Oh yes. I'm not sure WHY he would do this, but he showed up at the door with a LARGE bottle of Jack Daniels. No coke, just Jack. Funniest part is that i LOVE Jack Daniels, but he didn't know that! Not very smooth. You show up for the first time at a girls apartment with a big bottle of whiskey?! .. hmmm i think we all know what he had in mind...not a good first impression.

I kept track on what i was drinking, because last thing you want is to be a lush on the second date with all your roomates in the apartment! It's not my style ;)
He was ok. Quiet. Cute. But nothing more. My roomies made an effort to keep him in conversations, but it was a challenge. They all ended up going to bed early.
Then the funny stuff began.

We started kissing. It was an awkward kiss. But he was cute, so i kept trying to make it work. Tongue all up in my mouth; & way too much of it! Then, as we laid down and there was (over the clothes) rubbing and touching, the play by play began...
I kid you not.
He stopped kissing me and said “ I just kissed your neck, that was nice to kiss your neck”
Ok weird. But WTV.
Then he stopped again, 30 seconds later, “i'm rubbing your leg, it feels nice to rub your leg”
Yes... alright. Stop talking and just kiss me.
“Is it alright if i lay down with you?”
Then again “kissing you is good, you taste good. Can i kiss your neck again?”
Yes already.
But it didn't stop. It was a full-on play by play of what he was doing. Not hot or sexy. I could hear my roomates laughing because they were getting a recap on what we were doing!
The final straw was when he stopped and said :
“I just felt your butt. It was very firm. John likes your butt”
(He was “John”!!! ok that's not his REAL name, but for story-telling purposes it be that) He was talking about himself in the 3rd person! I pretty much pushed him off the couch, and sighed loudly. Enough was enough. His kissing was lousy, i wasn't going to listen to the play-by-play and not enjoy it!
I told him he should probably get going.
He said “Give me a minute. Wow. That was the most amazing makeup session EVER!”
He was serious.
I thought: Buddy, if THIS is your hottest makeout session i feel very sad for you! I doubt if he's ever got to the “having sex part” , because any girl in her right mind wouldn't be able to stand the commentary!!! If every 10 seconds he stopped to comment on our kissing, what would he have said when i was on top of him??! I think i would have had to get wild and mussel him!!! HAHAHA

Happy belated Valentine's Day Ladies!

Roxy's Top 10 Dating Tips : Tip #6

Dating tip #6: Be Confident! You ARE a sexy chica! If you know it, he'll sense it!

We all know how it feels to have someone important to us stomp on our heart and self-esteem. Sometimes it's hard to get past those negative feelings we have towards ourselves. Heck, i'm trying to take my own advice right now!

But, on your date, be someone you dream of being! “It's your attitude about yourself that a man will adopt” Every new date gives you a new outlet to be who YOU want to be! Sexy, charming, seductive... confident.

“Act like a prize and you'll turn him into a believer.”
Quotes are from the book Why Men Love Bitches, by Sherry Argov. It's a strange name for a book, but trust me, if you're one of those girls who are always “too nice” in relationships, it'll change your life around! ;) It did for me! Now, i'll have to buy her next book: Why Men Marry Bitches. Lol

The Guy Who Didn't Listen...

So, i thought it was time that i told another one of my real dating stories. I haven't had a date since Tiger (it's only been a week after all!), but this date was one of my first ones i had after my last relationship. So, it was about a year ago. The time of year seems fitting to tell this story.

It was shortly after New Years, and i had just decided to join the dating site because i was ready to get back into “the game”. Strangely, right after signing up, i got a phone call from a good guy friend of mine who told me that his friend was interested in me. Surprisingly, it was a guy i had known for a while, AND he'd been at the New Years party i was at a week prior. But he'd hardly spoken to me! I hadn't even noticed him looking my way... so i was really shocked to hear that he was interested.

And, honestly it wasn't a very good first move to get his friend to call me to ask me for my number... But my friend wasn't going to give my number out to just anyone, so he called me to ask my permission. I laughed and said “yes, give him my #”. And i thought: Who knows, maybe there's a different side to this guy...

Then, i got a phone call 4 minutes later from the very nervous guy in question: we'll call him “Tom”. He was definitely eager! And i guess if i had really been interested i would have been excited about his eagerness. lol Things you come to realize a year later! So we setup a date for drinks that week.

The date came quickly, and i never even felt nervous. I guess because i had nothing to lose; i didn't have feelings for Tom, so i could just be myself. I did make an effort, of course, to look good for the date ;) As we always do, right chicas?!
So, things went well, we talked and drank and ate. We met at one of my favorite first date spots: a very animated little bar on Monkland, where a friend of mine works. It's safe, just busy enough, and i knew the neighborhood because i lived 2 streets away! The conversation was flowing well, but in strange directions: he was quoting Edgar Allan Poe... his favorite authors ... his favorite plays... his favorite biographies. Nothing that really interested me... Sounds bad. I mean, I definitely enjoy someone who is cultured, but when every conversation carries back to a book you haven't read or a play you haven't seen, it's not very engaging ...

So, once 10pm came around i decided it was time to call it a night. I was walking home and he was walking to the metro station. We parted on a corner of the street and he asked if i wanted to see him again. I was honest. Which is hard for me. But, he was a super sweet guy and needed to know the truth. So I said that I wasn't quite sure that was a good idea. He was sweet and kind, but I didn't think that i could look at him as “more than friends.”
Then, he took a deep breath and said “can i kiss you now?”...
I was so shocked by his question, that it took me a moment to respond. Didn't he just listen to my awkward ramble about how i wasn't really that into him?
But, before another second past, he was all up in there, runny nose and all (it was a cold night.lol), a very light kiss with -10 rating on the passion scale. It was bad.

Once “that” was over, he pulled away, said that was great and that he couldn't wait to see me again. Oh lord. He wasn't listening or paying attention to my body language at all.
I laughed and started walking away. I said “we'd talk”, not quite sure what else i could say to make him understand. And Tom was so happy! I'm SURE that I saw him skip at least once as he walked away...
3 seconds later i had my best friend on the phone while i walked the rest of the way home, filling her in on the date and the guy who just didn't listen...

Post Date:
Tom called probably about 10 times to ask me out on a 2nd date. It may sound mean to some, but I didn't see him again. I almost caved when he called me on his birthday saying he had no plans (talk about a guilt trip!), and inviting me to his birthday “the snow shoeing day ” he was planning the following weekend. I actually happened to be busy. Really.
I know what you're thinking, but I wasn't going to lead him on when i knew it wasn't going to work! that's my story and i'm sticking to it!

While we're on this subject:: check out THIS awkward kiss!! LMAO!!

Roxy's Top 10 Dating Tips : Tip #4

Know your DEAL-BREAKERS. Know what they are before the date even begins.
You need to know a little about yourself to really enjoy a date to the fullest. Have you been honest with yourself? Do you know what/who you're looking for? Or more importantly, who you're NOT looking for? What don't you like? What won't you accept?

If you have an idea of those answers, you'll feel more confident about the date and you won't end up with Mr.Wrong a month later and wonder what happened!

To give you an idea, here are some of my deal-breakers. Keep in mind though, that everyone's different!
#1. No drugs. (been through enough of that in the past — don't want to be involved with someone who uses, this includes cigarettes too)
#2. He's mature (and hopefully not younger than me!) (ok well this is a harsh statement. But i'm tired of being with guys who aren't anywhere near ready for the next steps in life that i want to approach soon. And age does play a factor in that type of maturity. Been there, done that. So someone around my age or + is what i'm “looking” for.)
#3. He's self-sufficient. (I have a busy life, and he needs to have a life too. He needs to be able to take care of his own business. I'm not acting as anyone's mother — not this time around! No sir!)

I found the dating site i had joined (eharmony) was really great at helping you discover what you're wants and “absolute NO's” are. It might be worth filling out a profile one day just to discover more about yourself! (it seriously takes at least half an hour to fill it out!)

Roxy's Top 10 Dating Tips : Tip #3

Be yourself — you want him to know YOU and be interested in the REAL YOU, for the right reasons. I'm not saying you should give him every gritty detail (details in Tip#5 to come!), but make sure you're open and honest about your important details. Don't hide behind a facade and pretend you're someone you're not.

Love who you are, and don't be afraid to let that sexy chica shine!
“Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and speak your mind. It will not only earn his respect, but in some cases it will even turn him on.” — Why Men Love Bitches (Sherry Argov)

Roxy's Top 10 Dating Tips : Tip #2

Be interested in learning more about HIM and his likes/dislikes, as weird as they might be. You need to know as much about him as you can if you think you might want to see for date #2! You might find that his strange interests are what you like most about him. Or maybe you'll find out that he's a wack-job and you definitely don't want to see him again! lol
So, ask questions, don't be shy :: you might find that you have more in common than you initially thought!
For example, Tiger and I started really asking each other random questions on our first few dates and we found out weird things we had in common :: we share the same favorite cereal (which you can only get in the U.K!), we have had the same amount and type of dental surgeries (which are rare), and the only tea he has in his kitchen cabinet is my favorite English tea (bought in England, and he knows how to make it the proper English way). Random facts for most people, but kept making me think: where did this guy come from?! (in a good way. lol)
Insignificant little facts can lead to stronger connections between people.

The guy from the South Shore...

So i realized that I haven't updated any of MY personal horror/dating stories in a while, so here's one for you guys to read and laugh about! It's a guy I met from the dating site again. This was last winter, a month or two after i had started my online dating adventure!

This one stuck out in particular, because at first he really got me laughing LMAO. Seriously. Funniest guy when we chatted on MSN. We started talking alot, and because of all the bad dates i'd been on, i was dubious about meeting anyone new. But, as our chats progressed, i actually ended up super excited to meet him — i even traveled all the way to the South Shore for our first supper! That's saying something! lol

In person, it was a complete 180. He had no personality at all. He had been so funny and out-there on MSN and email. Made jokes all kinds. Had seemed super confident about himself... And now here i was on our first date, bored out of my mind. I was disappointed and didn't know what happened to my funny MSN chat buddy!

I started asking a few questions and it turns out he was a big gaming buff — scratch that, HUGE gaming buff— and he admitted to feeling more comfortable online than in person. The only social occasions he attended were gaming related. He talked to me about a masked event he was going to with all his gaming friends, where you had to guess which character they played in the game they were all on...because they only knew each other as their online persona...

Hmmm needless to say, there's was no connection between us. He seemed so impressed by my social life and in awe of everything i did... he even said that maybe i could “teach him”.

Teach him what? To live life?
I guess if i had liked him more, maybe i could have “taught him”. But, personally i didn't like a date who was so envious of me. I want an equal, not a puppy dog. Needless to say, there was no traveling over the bridge for Roxy after that!

Roxys' Top 10 Dating Tips : Tip #1

Roxy's Tip #1 is to make HIM feel comfortable. Once a guy feel that you're laid-back and relaxed about being out with him, the pressure on HIM comes off and he'll start to act more like himself! And when he's acting like himself, you're more inclined to know if you want to see him for date #2!
From ROXY

So, smile, compliment and be friendly. This always seems to be the #1 way to score a second date (if u want one of course!).
